I joined the Sycamore team in January 2025 as an Assistant Accountant Apprentice. Part of my role is to support the Finance team, and I work directly with Joe and Owen to help manage day-to-day operations in the office. My main responsibilities include reviewing the accounts inbox, and ensuring invoices are processed correctly, assisting with weekly timesheets and updating SAGE regularly. One day a week you’ll find me at Yeovil College where I am studying part of my apprenticeship. I am currently working towards my AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting, and so far, it’s going well! My days at Sycamore are very varied, and no day is the same! However, every day I am learning new things, that are beneficial for the apprenticeship I am completing. The best part about working at Sycamore is the family feel it has! Everyone is valued here at Sycamore, and it’s a joy to be here.
Outside of work you’ll typically find me exploring new places! I especially enjoyed the interrail trip I did in 2023, I camped along the way and visited France, Switzerland and Italy. I hope to continue my love for adventure and this year I want to visit Croatia and Istanbul. My favourite part of traveling is definitely trying new dishes and replicating them once I am back home. If I am not visiting new places then you’re more than likely to find me at home enjoying a good movie!
