I started working as a Stores Assistant in the Manufacturing Department at Sycamore in October 2021 and I am now a Stores Controller. My main responsibilities in the stores department are the day-to-day running of the stores including receiving and dispatching dairy parts and components to our site installations and customers. I am also responsible for carrying out ladder and harness inspections when required and maintaining COSHH records at Sycamore.
Generally, my day consists of making sure that our engineers at Sycamore and on-site have the materials they need to carry out their work. Receiving goods daily from our suppliers and processing deliveries. I am also responsible for checking materials we receive are supplied to the correct specification. The best part of working at Sycamore is working with a great team of people.
Outside of work, I am a complete golf addict playing off a handicap of 13. I also enjoy swimming and watching my daughter play football for a local team. Not necessarily an interesting fact but I once shared a lift with Patrick Viera at London Heathrow.
