I joined Sycamore in November 2019, initially as Project Engineering Manager but as of April 2023 have taken on the role of Project Director. As project director, I have overall responsibility for project delivery, post sales through to handover, alongside my team of Project Managers and Project Engineers. I also have responsibility for post-sales support through our recently formed parts and service division.
I have recently completed a help-to-grow management course, which will help me support Sycamore’s continued growth. I also like to keep up to date with advancements in technology and how this can be utilised in our projects.
My day-to-day life at Sycamore can change dramatically depending on the projects being worked on! Typically, I support project teams with project execution, attending project core team and customer meetings, as well as taking the opportunity to undertake site and customer visits wherever possible.
The best bit about working at Sycamore is that there is a lot of variety, although variations of a theme, no two projects are the same. It’s great to see project teams come together and strong working relationships formed with all of our customers.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with the family, especially at the beach! I also enjoy cycling when I have the chance!
