I am the Sales Engineer for Parts and Service, I joined the team in July 2021. My main responsibilities are supporting customers with our installations, and promoting our Project Support Package, consisting of Spare Parts, Servicing and Training.
On a day-to-day basis I am responding to customer enquiries regarding parts and components. Liaise with our process engineers to specify pumps and valves that meet customer demands. Gather supplier quotations to put together into our project support packages and servicing quotations. Liaise with our membrane technology partner Wafilin Systems to put together quotations to supply membranes for our customer network. Order parts once purchase orders have been received. Work with the parts and service manager to help deliver maintenance jobs. (Ordering all parts, helping with labour, site negotiations)and monitor delivery of parts from our trusted supplier network to ensure timely delivery to our customers.
The best part of working at Sycamore is the good team around me, keeping busy with a variety of tasks, and the half-day Friday is definitely a benefit.
Outside of work, I enjoy making pizzas, working out in the gym, and swimming while I am currently training for a half marathon later in the year. I am part of the local skittle teams and play once a week throughout the year.
