We were excited to be back sponsoring the Society of Dairy Technology Summer Symposium and returning to the International Cheese & Dairy Awards (ICDA) in Staffordshire County Showground where we proudly exhibited alongside our collaborative partners Au2mate. Sycamore’s Design Engineering Manager, Joe Matthews had the honour of presenting at the Society of Dairy Technology on ‘Improving Cheese Quality and Efficiencies’.
Joe’s engaging presentation included an interactive quiz where guests had to answer a range of questions which were covered in Joe’s presentation using their mobile device, leaving the crowd laughing and fighting for first place to win the Sycamore Cheese and Chutney Hamper.
Held annually, the ICDA prides itself on being the world’s largest platform to support world-class producers of cheese and dairy products, bringing in over 5,500 entries every year. Over 250 experts from the cheese and dairy industry sampled and judged the entries as the 125-year-old tradition crowns ‘The Very Best in Class’.
As a key sponsor to the internationally recognised show, the team at Sycamore Process Engineering had the opportunity to speak one on one with experts within the industry, catch up with customers and their businesses, as well as discuss any future dairy processing requirements.
The second day of the ICDA Show was centred around a networking breakfast and informative thought-provoking industry talks.
Joe presented alongside Lee Sullivan; Divisional Sales Director of our collaborative partner Au2mate. Their joint talk focused on ‘CIP and Digitalisation’ and how many processing facilities already have the ability to capture key data to indicate performance enhancement opportunities, however are not focussed on this.
